As unquestionable as his driving skills are, Rosberg remains human, and a human that has immense respect for the F40. Driving a borrowed car on narrow village streets, even this motorsport maestro succumbs to nerves at times and accidentally runs a red light. The result is that he has to reverse the F40 back to the light he ran, something that must have been quite harrowing. Nevertheless, Rosberg seems enamored by the whole experience and it’s quite clear that this is one of the few cars that, even years on, continues to thrill. We doubt that the F8 Tributo – or any other Ferrari the future may bring – will ever be quite as special.
